Powered Swivel Seat

The seat on stairlfts are designed to swivel the user to ensure you can exit the stairlift safely onto the landing. They are designed with a manual swivel seat which allows the user to move the seat when required at the push of a lever located either side of the seat

If you choose a powered swivel seat option, you can continue to hold your toggle when you reach the top of the stairs and the chair will slowly swivel around so you can safely dismount onto the landing.The powered swivel seat on all curved and straight stairlifts comes with a manual override for emergency release to improve stairway access if required.
