Handicare 1100 Slide Stairlift

The 1100 Slide provides a revolutionary solution by eliminating the need for a hinge, as the track moves in sync with the seat, it ensures the doorway at the base of your stairs remains unobstructed. Similar to a powered hinge, the Slide track operates automatically when you activate the toggle or remote control. As you begin your ascent, the track moves along with you. It reaches the tops of the stairs before the stairlift does, then stops while the stairlift continues its journey, allowing you to dismount safely at the top. On your descent, the track moves down the stairs with you, ensuring a secure dismount at the bottom. 

The Slide Track is equipped with safety sensors at both ends. These sensors will stop the track if it encounters an obstacle, ensuring safety. If desired, the stairlift can continue towards the obstacle, allowing you to remove it if it is safe to do so, and then resume your journey. Alternatively, both the track and the stairlift can move away from the obstruction. The Slide Track offers enhanced safety compared to traditional hinged systems by eliminating the risk of objects getting caught in the hinge.

The maximum weight limit for this lift is 19 stone/120kg. 

The price of this stairlift includes 3 years warranty on all parts, excluding batteries, 12 months labour and also a lifetime warranty on the motor and the gearbox.
